Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and requirements to identify solutions that optimize company operations.
• Design, develop, and implement IT systems and applications to meet business goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Evaluate existing systems for improvement opportunities, and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
• Define system workflows, data models, and functional specifications to guide development efforts.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training to end-users on new systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data at all times.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the IT industry, continuously seeking new solutions to enhance company operations.
• Document system processes and procedures, ensuring accurate and thorough knowledge transfer to other stakeholders.

Experience and Education Requirements

To be an IT Business Systems Analyst, you need a mix of education and experience. We require a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field. You should have experience working with computers and technology to show that you have the skills necessary for the job. You may be expected to have knowledge in programming languages, software development, and database systems. Good communication and problem-solving skills are also important.
